Ayden's preschool had a Field Trip with all the families of the kiddos to May Farms for pumpkin picking and other activities. All 4 of us had the opportunity to go. We had a really great time. The weather was still nice and sunny. I love this time of the year...the start of the Holiday season. The start of Fall with the leaves changing colors, the cool, crisp air...before we know it, Winter will be here with all the snow. We will enjoy this time while it lasts. Look at all these pumpkins....
The rules for Pumpkin Picking were that the kids were able to choose a small pumpkin. Once they found the pumpkin they wanted, they had to stand by the pumpkin with their hand raised (Daddy helped with this part) and wait for assistance to cut the Pumkin off the vine. Did you all know that pumpkins DO NOT grow on their bottoms, but actually on their sides while on the vine. This was our first time picking out pumkins still attached to the vine. It was a great experience.
All Smiles once Ayden had his proud Pumkin in his hands. Boo also found 2 pumpkins that he wanted too.
After collecting our pumpkins, we had to place them on a truck to take them back to the front of the farm for us. We tried to get some posed pics of the boys on this truck with hay and pumpkins but Jackson did not want to cooperate. This is what we got. The next shot was of him crying and leaning forward, having to be caught before falling off of the truck.....lucky catch. :)
Ayden and his classmate, Zack rode in the last barrel on the barrel train. They had so much FUN!
While Ayden rode the train, all the parents and family members got to ride on a hay ride back to the front of the farm. Here is Daddy and Jackson on the hay ride.

Gotta love this time of the year.
